🐶 Your Score – Are You Ready to Adopt?

🔵 100 Points — Highly Recommended.

You're the ideal match! You have the experience, time, resources, and emotional readiness to give a retired service dog a loving, stable home. We strongly encourage you to move forward—you’re ready to welcome a hero into your life!

🟢 80–99 Points — Ready with Confidence.

You're in a great position to adopt. You may have a few small areas to prepare for, but overall, you show strong potential as a responsible and loving adopter. With a little planning, you'll be a fantastic companion for a retired service dog.

🟡 60–79 Points — Almost There.

You're on the right track, but there are some key areas to consider or improve before adopting. Whether it’s budgeting, lifestyle changes, or gaining experience, a bit more preparation will help ensure a successful adoption.

🟠 40–59 Points — Not Quite Ready Yet.

You may care deeply about animals, but your current situation may not fully support the needs of a retired service dog. We recommend taking some time to work on the areas that scored lower and revisiting the idea when you're more ready.
